Katia Shneider, a multidisciplinary artist with 13 years of experience in PR and communications
Katia Shneider (ex. Katia Candor) (1986, Moscow) is a multidisciplinary artist with 13 years of professional experience in PR and communications.
From 2009 to 2022, she worked in advertising agencies, film production, and industrial enterprises, focusing on media production and strategic communications. In 2022, she left Russia and ended her PR career to fully dedicate herself to her artistic practice.
Since 2011, Katia has participated in group exhibitions in Russia, Spain, Georgia, Montenegro. Since 2014, she has been creating performance art in museums and parks in Moscow. During this period, her main mediums were painting, graphic art, and performance.
Since 2023, she has been actively developing her ceramic and video practices, completing several artist residencies, studying glaze chemistry, and creating her own custom ceramic glazes. She has participated in both solo and group exhibitions and has delivered a lecture on ceramics in contemporary art at several cultural centers.Currently, she lives and works in Montenegro. She is open to collaboration with galleries, curators, and institutions worldwide.
