Black box
The work takes the form of an opaque black box with two openings for the hands. The viewer cannot see its contents and receives no instructions other than the possibility of interaction. They may choose to insert their hands into the box or refrain from doing so — the choice remains theirs.
The box functions as a transitional zone, positioned between knowledge and uncertainty, action and refusal. Its contents are not predetermined: the experience is shaped individually and depends on the viewer’s expectations, bodily sensations, personal history, and internal boundaries. In this way, the object does not present a fixed meaning, but creates a situation of subjective experience.
